Pressure E ect on Superconductivity and Normal State of Sr 2 RuO 4

We studied electrical resistivity and the Hall coe cient of single-crystalline samples of an oxide superconductor Sr2RuO4 under hydrostatic pressures up to 1.2 GPa. The value of Tc decreases by 36 % at 1.2 GPa, while no appreciable change in the resistivity or the Hall coe cient has been observed. At room temperature an unexpected increase of resistivity along the c axis occurs with increasing pressure. [Sr2RuO4, superconductivity, Tc, resistivity, the Hall coe cient]
